Mass transfer systems for simulating heat transfer processes

The results from studies conducted in the Heat Transfer Laboratory at the University of Minnesota on the use of mass transfer systems to model heat transfer processes are examined. The simulation of film cooling with mass transfer using foreign gas injection and the modeling of heat transfer from a wall utilizing a subliming surface are described. The study of natural convection with an electrochemical process is discussed.
