A flow transfer function for hydraulic servo-valve orifices
Abstract
The performance of servovalves under unsteady conditions is investigated. The LDA measurement system for evaluating the performance of a valve orifice for a flow excitation frequency of 1 Hz for various spool gaps is described. A flow transfer function for analyzing the frequency response of a servovalve orifice is derived, and its applicability is examined. The requirements for a automatic measuring system are discussed.
