SAW pulse compression system with low side lobes
Abstract
The linear FM surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices are commonly used in generation and processing of analog radar signals. Systematic compensation techniques for both time and frequency domains are reported in this paper. In-line SAW linear FM dispersive delay lines are used, and the level of time side lobes for a system can be still reached down by -40 dB, which has a time-bandwidth (BT) product of 50.
