The superresolution applications in tracking radar
Abstract
The problems of low angle tracking over the earth surface are explained and conventional applications entail the use of the specular model. The analysis leads to the investigation of the superresolution technique by considering two radars in X band and in K band; and a gain in the frequency accuracy selection, referred to the conventional filtering, was considered a suitable starting point. The superresolution technique is considered by analyzing the Cramer-Rao bounds for frequency displacement estimation in a white noise environment. In the worst case phase conditions, the available superresolution technique and the limitations of the conventional frequency selection methods are investigated.
