The effect of injected flow parameters on the efficiency of a nonequilibrium two-phase heat screen on an adiabatic wall
Abstract
Equations are obtained for calculating the efficiency of the thermal protection of an adiabatic wall in the presence of a nonequilibrium gas-vapor-liquid screen. The calculation procedure is presented, and an analysis is made of the effect of injected flow. It is shown that the addition of the vapor-liquid component into the injected flow in amounts equal to a mass concentration of 0.05-0.1 is equivalent to a twofold increase in the mass injection coefficient of a gaseous coolant.
