Modeling crosstalk on printed circuit boards
Abstract
The modeling of crosstalk on printed circuit boards is investigated. The emphasis is on simple models for use in CAD/CAM codes. Several simple models are developed. Their predictions are assessed for typical printed circuit board dimensions and interfering signals. The model predictions are compared to those of conventional lumped-circuit iterative models as well as experimental results. Also included are similar results for a ribbon cable.
