Possibilities of the prediction of maximum frequencies of the waveguide propagation of radio waves
Abstract
An approach to the prediction of global distributions of the maximum frequencies of radio channels in the ionosphere is developed on the basis of an extremum-parametric method for determining the set of waveguide characteristics. The approach takes into account the longitudinal geomagnetic effect. A map of isolines of maximum frequencies for a physical moment of time is presented as an example.
