Computer Aided Design-Computer Aided Testing 'CADCAT' technique for new and existing systems
Abstract
An integrated CADCAT (Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Testing) technique is proposed and investigated. The technique utilizes computer aided modal testing CAT results and computer aided finite element modeling CAD integrated into a system analysis routine to predict the dynamic performance of new systems as well as to select the design modifications for existing systems. Some applications of the technique on some design problems are given.
