LDA measurements in a plane vertical jet in shallow water
Abstract
Experimental results on plane two-dimensional turbulent jets which discharge in shallow water, with and without buoyancy, are presented. The flow can be stably stratified depending on some geometrical parameters and the densimetric Froude number. The results include mean velocity and temperature and turbulent Reynolds stresses.
