Self-contained continuous DF chemical laser
Abstract
The Navier-Stokes equations in the narrow-channel approximations are used to calculate the output energy and spectrum for a self-contained CW DF chemical laser. DF lasers with flat and cylindrical nozzle units are compared, and it is shown that in the latter case one can achieve output energies close to the maximum possible for continuous DF chemical lasers.
