Synchronization of Josephson contacts separated by a silicon layer
Abstract
The interaction of Josephson junctions in an electrodynamically coupled ring-shaped array having an intermediate silicon layer are investigated experimentally. Measurements of the synchronized interval in the normalized bias current Delta I for the two array halves are obtained. It is shown that the observed interval is at least ten times larger than theoretical estimates.
