Statistical description of turbulent flows in multiphase media
Abstract
A fluid medium consisting of N phases located in a confined region is considered. Each of the N components is assumed to be an incompressible viscous fluid. The solution of the initial boundary value problem for a turbulent flow in such a medium is analyzed, and the a priori limitation of the solution is examined. The evolution of a probabilistic criterion in this fluid system is investigated.
