Error evaluation for a difference method for approximating weak solutions of Stefan problems
Abstract
A method for error evaluation for an implicit difference method for approximating a weak solution of Stefan problems is given based on known regularity characteristics of the solution. The existence and characteristics of the weak solution and its approximation are discussed, and the effect of the delta parameter on the convergence behavior is examined. The convergence of the difference method as a function of the lattice parameters is studied.
