Numerical modeling of unsteady flows of a viscous incompressible fluid
Abstract
Certain problems connected with the numerical modeling of unsteady flows of a viscous incompressible fluid are examined on the example of the vibrations of a thin plate. The numerical integration of the Navier-Stokes equations is performed by a splitting method. The solution algorithm is described, and a modification of open boundary conditions is proposed to account for effects associated with the unsteadiness. Results of numerical calculations are presented.
