A laminar mixing layer at the boundary of two flows
Abstract
The velocity distribution of a fluid in a laminar mixing layer at the boundary of two flows is described by a system of Prandtl equations with certain boundary conditions. For general assumptions, theorems are proved on the existence and uniqueness of a solution to the boundary value problem describing the laminar mixing layer.
