Spectral method for calculating the propagation constants of cellular waveguides
Abstract
The spectral method is validated on the example of normal-mode determination in a rectangularly corrugated waveguide. A theorem that is the analog of the Wiener-Paley theorem for Fourier series is proved, and this theorem is used to demonstrate the equivalence of solutions of the initial boundary value problem and the dispersion equation.
