An analysis of flow of gas with suspended matter past a sphere using a three-component model of a two-phase medium
Abstract
Flow of a gas with suspended solid particles past a sphere is analyzed numerically using a three-component model allowing for the chaotic motion of the particles. Calculations are carried out using Godunov's (1976) moving-grid scheme with isolation of the head wave. Results are presented in graphic form.
