Stability of the ring spectrum of a quasi-stochastic modulator with respect to changes in the shape of diffraction scatterers
Abstract
The effect of the geometric shape of plane diffraction scatterers on the location of the intensity maximum in the spatial-angular spectrum of a quasi-stochastic modulator of the wavefront of laser emission is investigated analytically and experimentally. It is shown that the intensity maximum is relatively stable in those cases when the scatterers have a noncircular shape. The spatial spectra of the scatterers are presented.
