A comparison of methods for adaptive jamming suppression
Abstract
Methods for the optimal suppression of jamming in partially adaptive antenna arrays were developed. Recursive algorithms to solve the Wiener filter equation were considered. The iteration methods sample matrix gradient, single step method, and successive-over-relaxation were generalized to stochastic approximation methods. The direct methods of recursive covariance matrix decomposition as well as spatial lattice filters were derived. The methods are illustrated by simulations and by a comparison of the number of point operations of the variance, and of the convergence rate.
