Experimental study of turbulent three-dimensional separation in flat ellipsoidal cylindrical models. Results of the second wind tunnel test campaign
Abstract
Wall flow visualizations and wall pressure distributions for several values of incidence and velocity are presented. The flow distribution was measured using anemometers and a three axes laser velocimeter. The average velocity and the Reynolds tensor were measured at 5000 points around the model. The analysis shows the start and development of vortices.
