Phase and amplitude measurements of individual dipoles of 450-800 Mhz, 9-element array
Abstract
The results of phase and amplitude measurements of individual dipoles in a 9-element (3 x 3 configuration) array are presented. The 3 x 3 array, designed for 450 to 800 MHz operation, consists of 9 open-sleeve dipoles. Using sweep frequency measurement techniques, the phase and amplitude characteristics of each individual dipole are compared to the center element for both vertical and horizontal polarizations.
