Utilization of dielectric resonators to implement hyperfrequency filters for telecommunication
Abstract
A hyperfrequency filter with elliptical transfer function was developed for communication satellites because of weight and size advantages. Losses at 4 GHz are 0.0001. The resonator is included in a microstrip structure. The finite difference method was used to compute couplings appearing in a filter synthesis. A computer program to compute all parameters was developed. Experiments show that improvements are necessary.
