Quasi three-dimensional finite element flow calculation in pumps
Abstract
Computer codes to solve meridional and blade-to-blade two-dimensional inviscid flow on turbomachine blades were developed. The codes interact between themselves to give a quasi three-dimensional picture of the flow. The codes are validated by checking predictions against experimental data on a centrifugal impeller.
