Transient three phase, three component flow. Part 2: One-dimensional slip model, comparison theory-experiment
Abstract
Prediction and experimentally determined flows were compared using a one dimensional slip model for boiling two-phase flow, pre and postboiling crisis flow and heat transfer, loss-of-flow for nuclear heated rod bundles for typical pressurized water reactors, and critical flow. The results prove the usefulness of the entropy concept in modeling.
