Separate gate analog to digital converter (ADC) control
Abstract
A module providing the control signals for up to three connected separate gate Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) to avoid unnecessary ADC conversions was developed. A time window is set by the enable signal for the module. An event to be registered within this window is stated to the module by the gate pulse. If one of the channel inputs gets a signal, after an adjusted delay, the relevant ADC input gate is opened during an adjusted interval. Each enabled signal permits only one gate pulse.
