Approximate solution to the problem of heating massive bodies by radiation
Abstract
The numerical methods used till now for solving nonlinear thermal conductivity problems do not provide sufficiently accurate results. An approximate analytical method for solving these problems is proposed. The method is based on the regular conditions for heating massive bodies together with thermal balances written for the mean mass temperature. The error in determining temperature fields does not exceed 1.0%.
