Development of thin film hybrid IC active filter for video band use
Abstract
A high-performance resistance/capacitance (RC) active filter suitable for video-band application was developed utilizing a thin-film hybrid integrated circuit. The filter is small, lightweight, and gives high performance at low cost when operated with a wideband operational amplifier. Also instrumental in the filter's development were the CAD method, and an added amplitude compensating capacitor to compensate for the finite gain bandwith (GB) product of the operational amplifier.
