Microwave measurement
Abstract
A detailed discussion of the microwave measurement is presented. The essential theory of transmission lines, waveguides, and microwave circuits is surveyed, and practical aspects of lines, matching, and signal detection are addressed. Measurements of power, attenuation, circuit parameters, and noise are discussed, and more specialized techniques for measurements in the time and frequency domains are described. Free field measurements of antennas and power flux density are covered. Automation, the statistical measurement of errors, and the economics of measurement are examined.
