Theory of Gunn effect in the narrow band systems
Abstract
The exact theory of Gunn Effect in narrow band conductors (organic conductors, molecular crystals, polymers, superlattices, superionic conductors etc.) is developed using the Fokker-Plank kinetic equation. The exact analytical solutions for a moving domain structure are obtained and their stability is investigated. The analytical expression for a current-voltage characteristic of a moving domain structure is found.
