On fluid motions with a prescribed compressibility law
Abstract
The plane stationary irrotational motion of an inviscid fluid is considered for the case when a general compressibility law with some assigned properties exists. Solutions of the system involving an arbitrary parameter for the velocity potential and for the stream function. They are expressed as functions of the hodographical variables and the passage to the physical plane of motion.
