High-power two-frequency CW dye laser
Abstract
The dual-frequency generation of a CW dye laser pumped by an argon laser was investigated experimentally. Stable dual-mode generation with an output power of 1.23 W and an efficiency of 14 percent, which is comparable to the efficiency of single-mode dye ring lasers, was achieved. The fluctuations of the frequency interval between the two modes and the width of each of the axial mode did not exceed 10 MHz.
