Use of Walsh functions for calculating characteristics of digital fitlers with impulse response of finite duration
Abstract
The paper examines a method for the calculation of digital FIR (finite impulse response) filters using the spectral characteristics of Walsh functions in the frequency domain. This method, which makes it possible to represent any FIR filter as a parallel connection of Walsh filters, is distinguished by a relative simplicity of theoretical relationships and by the clarity of the physical interpretation of the results obtained.
