Diffraction of periodic grounding system of finite length
Abstract
The method of partial regions is used to analyze wave diffraction by the junction of a regular waveguide and a periodic slow wave structure (SWS) of finite length, with allowance for the full discrete spectrum of the natural modes (including the complex ones) of the system. The proposed algorithm reduces the diffraction problem to the solution of an infinite system of linear algebraic equations, having a high rate of convergence and solution stability during reduction. The convergence is investigated, and numerical results are analyzed.
