Adaptive control of airborne radar antennas
Abstract
Various types of adaptive control systems for airborne radar antennas are examined, including systems with a reference model and signal autotuning, systems with a tunable identifier, systems with play, and systems with play and elastic couplings. The advantages of adaptive systems are outlined, with particular attention given to the reduction of system weight and cost and to the improvement of system precision.
