Method for forming gaps in the radiation pattern of a scanning phased array
Abstract
Steyskal's (1983) method is applied to the problem of forming gaps in specified directions in the radiation of a linear symmetric phased array. The method consists in the addition of phase-shift elements to the phase distribution providing for scanning of the main beam. Results of numerical calculations are presented.
