Vector patterns of parabolic antennas with two symmetry planes of the reflector over the difference channel
Abstract
Features characterizing the spatial structure of vector patterns of parabolic antennas with two symmetry planes of the reflector over the difference channel are analyzed. The dependence of the cross-polarization level on the degree of reflector asymmetry and curvature is established. Simple formulas are obtained for determining the shape and angular position of the first lobes of the pattern for the principal and cross-polarization components of the field.
