Directionfinding error statistics for the mdistribution of signal amplitudes
Abstract
Expressions for the probability density and expectation of relative directionfinding error and for the probability that the finder will go beyond the target boundary are obtained in the case of a Nakagami distribution of signal amplitudes. It is concluded that these expressions can be used to calculate the effect of the statistical characteristics of radar signals on the measurement error of target angular coordinates.
