Diffraction of electromagnetic waves by a plane with azimuthal conductivity
Abstract
The problem of electromagnetic-wave wave diffraction by a plane with azimuthal conductivity is solved for the case of Eand H-polarized plane waves. The method used involves the reduction of a system of integral equations of the first kind to homogeneous ordinary differential equations of the first order. Expressions containing elementary functions are obtained for components of the diffraction field decreasing with distance according to the spherical-wave law.
