Orthogonalizing-transformation method for calculating the natural modes of screened slot structures
Abstract
The method of orthogonalizing transformations is used to obtain an analytical solution to a set of integral equations describing the propagation of electromagnetic waves in slot structures. As an example, the dispersion equation and the electric-field distribution in the slot are obtained for the principal mode of a waveguide slot line on a single-layer substrate.
