Plane-wave diffraction by a grating consisting of ideally conducting cylinders of circular cross section
Abstract
A theoretical study is made of the diffraction of an obliquely incident plane (E or H polarized) electromagnetic wave by a periodic grating consisting of infinitely long, ideally conducting circular cylinders. Numerical results indicate that the transmissivity of the grating is determined by the type of polarization,, the grating parameters, and the incidence angle.
