Application of the Green function method to calculate the characteristics of near-surface bulk acoustic wave filters
Abstract
The excitation of near-surface bulk acoustic waves (BAW) of arbitrary polarization by a system of surface electrodes is considered. Calculated values of the Green function determining the phase velocity, the excitation efficiency, and the damping parameter of such waves are found to agree well with experimental data. An effective method for calculating the amplitude-frequency response curve of near-surface BAW filters is proposed, and a procedure for improving the amplitude-frequency parameters of such filters is developed.
