Excitation of a single groove and the equivalent surface impedance of ribbed structures
Abstract
Consideration is given to the use of ribbed structures (consisting of grooves) with reactive surface impedance to isolate antennas situated on a common surface. The problem of exciting a single groove by a magnetic-flux filament is solved. The concept of equivalent surface impedance is introduced on the basis of energy relationships, and this impedance is calculated for different groove depths and widths.
