Stochastic oscillations in a system of coupled oscillators with delay
Abstract
Theoretical and experimental results are presented concerning a system of two coupled oscillators with delay. The theoretical analysis involved the use of the Runge-Kutta-Merson method for the numerical calculation of equations describing the operation of oscillators with delay in the case of capacitive coupling. The experimental study involved relaxation oscillators with avalanche transistors. It is shown that stochastic oscillations can arise in such systems as the result of their asynchronous interaction (competition) in the case of the nonsinusoidal mode of autonomous oscillations.
