Analysis of the numerical solution to a problem of diffraction by one- and two-layer dielectric cylinders with a large radius
Abstract
A numerical series-summation method is developed for solving the problem of plane-wave diffraction by one- and two-layer dielectric circular cylinders with a radius that is approximately 1000 times greater than the wavelength. The problem of determining the angular positions of the minima of the diffraction patterns (a problem of interest in microwave and optical technology) is examined.
