Optimal method for the detection and direction finding of radiation sources under conditions of parametric a priori uncertainty
Abstract
Recursive algorithms of maximum likelihood and filtering are obtained in the case of two-channel reception in the framework of an adaptive Bayesian approach through the synthesis of optimal receivers of Markov radio pulses. It is assumed that the signals and noise are described by a generalized Gaussian model with parametric a priori uncertainty. Attention is given to the joint detection and direction finding of sources of such signals and a block diagram of an optimal receiver is presented.
