Method for calculating mutual impedances based on the theory of infinite periodic structures
Abstract
A procedure for calculating the mutual impedances of antenna elements is developed on the basis of the equivalence between the element-by-element calculation of mutual impedances in an infinite antenna array and a method based on the theory of periodic structures. Numerical results are presented for infinitely thin half-wave dipoles above an infinitely conducting plane.
