Synthesis of antennas with semitransparent sheets
Abstract
Calculations are presented of the susceptance of the wall (film) and the weak supply current required for an antenna consisting of an open resonator with a thin flat or spherical semitransparent wall, covering also the case of two semitransparent walls. The calculations, which use the field on the external surface of the film as input, are reduced to determining the resonance in an equivalent scheme of parallel conductances. The transition to a semitransparent screen of concentrated elements is also considered. Finally, the condition for the absence of energy fluxes in the antenna cavity is found.
