Computation of elements of a quasi-optic line shaping a given directional pattern
Abstract
A quasi-optic line, with frequent periodic grating as elements, is synthesized using the iterative approximation method to solve a reverse problem. Solutions are presented for lines consisting of four and ten elements with a transverse grating size of 2a = 25 lambda, distance between them L = 50 lambda, and inclination angle beta = 15 deg. The transparency parameter, variable along the gratings, is computed as well and used to determine the reflectivity and transmittivity constants which, in turn, shape a given directional pattern. Numerical solutions are included.
