Calculation of the hydraulic characteristics of the cooling system of perforated turbine blades
Abstract
A method developed in earlier studies (Repukhov, 1977, 1980, 1983) is used to calculate the hydraulic characteristics of the cooling channel of a perforated turbine blade, and the results are compared with experimental data. It is found that the two sets of data agree within the experimental uncertainty. The method used here is recommended for calculating characteristics of the injection cooling of the surfaces of machine parts exposed to high temperatures.
