Synthesis of differential recorders of ionic marks
Abstract
The design of a differential recorder for a marking meter of fluid-flow velocity is presented. A method for evaluating the accuracy of the device is proposed which is based on the analysis of the field of interaction between an ionic mark (an ionized-gas region produced by a spark or coronal discharge) and the receiving electrodes of the recorder. Expressions are obtained relating the error variance with the recorder design parameters.
